Huntington Bank

Partnership since 2021 | Expanded 2024

Partnership Goals

Huntington wanted to reach WVU students from the moment they open their first independent accounts and to build a recruiting pipeline from the University's business and analytics programs. Our partnership grew from a student banking deal into a campus-wide financial wellness platform.

How We Worked Together

The Office of Strategic Partnerships coordinated the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Student Life, the WVU Hub, and Athletics to create an agreement that covers branded ATMs campus-wide, the Huntington Student Financial Wellness Center inside the Hub, the Huntington Finance Lab inside Chambers, a structured internship-to-offer pipeline, and presenting sponsorship of WVU Football pre-game programming.

Results

Huntington expanded the partnership in 2024 with a multi-year naming-rights commitment to the new Finance Lab and a doubling of the internship program. 72% of Huntington's WVU interns have converted to full-time offers.
